I am the mother to two beautiful little girls, but I can honestly say that marrying my adorable husband was what made me want to become a photographer. He is a pilot in the Navy, and we’ve moved four times in the past eight years, so finding a job that could give me consistency and satisfy my creativity was a win-win. We recently moved from Texas to Washington, and I’m feeding my soul through my daily 365 project, (where I take and edit at least one picture of my girls every day), as I rebuild my business in our new home. I love being a mama, and I try to show authentic images in my work – both the tears and the laugher. I’m thrilled and humbled to be a part of this amazing group of women and mothers and photographers and warriors. My hope is that this project pushes me to show the heart and soul of my children through my lens. To show others what I see in them.
